Jongrim Ha is a Senior Economist in the World ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵAPP¡¯s Prospects Group. His main fields of specialization are open-economy macroeconomics, international finance, monetary economics, and time-series econometrics. He has contributed to many volumes of the flagship Global Economic Prospects reports, and has published a book and academic journal articles on inflation in emerging market and developing economies, monetary policy challenges in small open economies, global macro-financial linkages, global confidence cycles and spillovers, and economic uncertainty. Before joining the World ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵAPP, he served as an economist at the ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵAPP of Korea, in positions in the Research Department, Financial Stability Department, and the Secretariat to the Governor of the ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵAPP. He earned his Ph.D. in economics from Cornell University and B.A. in economics from Seoul National University.
