The Strategic Impact Evaluation Fund, the European Commission Centre for Research on Impact Evaluation, and the Hungarian Prime Minister¡¯s Office¡ªMonitoring and Evaluation Department, organized a workshop on counterfactual impact evaluations for approximately 80 government officials, evaluation practitioners, and researchers from Central and Eastern Europe. The workshop provided capacity building on impact evaluation methods with a focus on employment, social protection, and education programs. The training also helped the participants identify impact evaluation opportunities within their own programs.
