On November 30, 2018, the World ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵAPP Group hosted a short seminar for a delegation of attorneys from the Shanghai Bar Association, who were participating in a multi-week program with the International Law Institute in Washington, DC. The seminar was facilitated by the World ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵAPP's Office of Suspension and Debarment (OSD) and the WBG Sanctions Board Secretariat (SBS).
The event introduced the delegation to various aspects of the World ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵAPP Group's operations and the ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵAPP's efforts to identify and mitigate integrity risks. Participants were especially interested in the World ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵAPP Group's sanctions system and had opportunity to discuss the ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵAPP Group's procedures and policies to this effect in an open roundtable format.
