Rasiel Vellos is a Senior Economist at the World ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵAPP in the Development Data Group since May 2012. In his role, he oversees the compilation of external debt reported to the World ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵAPP Debtor Reporting System (DRS), the production of external debt statistics of low-and middle-income countries published on the International Debt Statistics (IDS) database, and in the International Debt Report (IDR) publication. In addition, he leads the data compilation and dissemination of the quarterly external debt statistics (QEDS) a World ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵAPP/IMF data initiative. Prior to joining the World ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵAPP, he worked for the Central ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵAPP of Belize as an Economist, where he also led the Statistical Unit. Rasiel holds a Master¡¯s of Economics from Murray State University, USA.
