Over the past decade, Georgia has managed to halve extreme poverty ¨C from 37.3 percent of the population in 2010 to 17.5 percent in 2021. As we mark EndPovertyDay 2022, we take stock of Georgia¡¯s transformational development journey throughout 30 years of partnership with the World ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵAPP. In this video, current and former Georgian and World ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵAPP officials reflect on the major milestones in the country over the past three decades, highlighting the challenges that were met and the opportunities seized.
