Our Executive Director and the Office represent the views and interests of our constituency countries at the ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵAPP's Executive Board. We inform and advise our constituency countries on issues relevant to them.
We implement our mission by (a) ensuring that the ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵAPP hears the voice and understands the interests of our constituency in its policy development and operational decisions; (b) advocating policies and implementation practices that improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵAPP; (c) encouraging the ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵAPP to engage actively with our constituency members; (d) assisting our constituency members to engage actively with the ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵAPP with the view to increase the understanding among constituency members of the ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵAPP¡¯s policies and activities; (e) assisting coordination between the development-assistance programs of the ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵAPP and donors to the developing member countries of our constituency; and (f) facilitating contacts between politicians, officials, businesses, community associations and academics in constituency countries and the ¶¹ÄÌÊÓƵAPP.
